This series takes place after the events of Sonic Adventure 2, Shadow the Hedgehog, Sonic Riders, and Sonic the Hedgehog `06. If you`ve read my original "Sonic the Human" series, then you`re golden, as you would already have an idea of how some things, such as chaos emeralds, will work. But this is a totally different story, however, such as, unlike the original "Sonic the Human", this series has it that everyone has already met Shadow. I hope you will enjoy this.

Also, as a side note, I`m thinking that the "Sonic the Human: 50 Years Ago" will be the prequel to this as well. This is NOT the sequel to "Sonic the Human."

In the Station Square high school, there are two rival gangs; Babylon Rogues and the Sonic Gang. They`re not quite like the usual gangs where they tear apart the city or commit crime, though. But the two do rival one another for supremacy and for the title of being the most popular group. Currently, the Sonic Gang ranks as number one while the Babylon Rogues are number two. The Babylon Rogues want to be the top gang, and thus, they usually start fights with the Sonic Gang, both in school and out of school.

The Sonic Gang comprises of Sonic (of course), Amy, Shadow, Knuckles, Rouge, Silver, Blaze, Tails, Cream, Espio, Mighty, Vector, Big, Ray and Fang. The Babylon Rogues have Jet, Wave, Storm, Shade, Bean and Bark. Both gangs are considered to have the most popular people of the school and both gangs reside in Station Square.

Although, in the Sonic Gang, only two members do not attend the high school; Tails and Cream. They attend the elementary school.

The Sonic Gang, being the one group of teens allowed on the elementary school grounds, are outside the school, waiting for the children to be released for the day. Teens are known for causing trouble and being a danger to elementary school children. But Sonic and his crew have proven themselves over and over that they can be counted on to do good and be trusted. They are often seen going on their adventures with the two children anyhow. The children are in safe hands.

Sonic, of course, is the leader and quite the speedster. His high speeds allow him to travel without the need of any sort of vehicle since he can outrun them all. Living with him in his apartment as an adoptive brother is Tails, whom though is a child, is quite the whiz. He is working on learning computers and mechanics. He is willing to lend a helping hand to others that need it, just like his "big brother", Sonic.

Amy is Sonic`s girlfriend, or self-proclaimed as one anyway. She started off as being a little over eager about Sonic but since high school, she is showing signs of slowing down n that department. Amy wields her piko-piko hammer where ever she goes and will pull it out for use when she feels the need to. She has a surprising amount of arm strength which is best displayed during her use of swinging that hammer. Amy is the cheerful sort but can quickly turn into a hammer-swinging girl of fury. Even Eggman flees when she is in that state.

Knuckles mostly resides on Angel Island, but luckily that isn`t so far away that he can`t make it to school with everyone. He has his family inheritance, the Master Emerald, hidden away someplace where he believes that no one could find it. It`s quite valuable and holds a lot of power within it. When he isn`t with his group of friends, he can usually be found at his house, working on his strength. He is quick to anger and has a lot of strength to back it up. He is good friends with Sonic.

Rouge works for GUN, on a "as needed" basis. She is a treasure hunter still and runs a club called "Club Rouge" nearby the Casino in Station Square. The club has not only dancing but karaoke as well. The Sonic Gang can be found here often. A couple tables are always on reserve for them. While Rouge is known for being one of the biggest flirts, she can be counted on to help out as her kicks are one of the strongest in the team. Put it all together and it sounds like she has quite the busy schedule. She always makes time for friends, though.

Silver has telekinetic powers which he can use on just about anything anyone, mostly lifting such things with his power and flinging them across the room. A select few have been able to overcome his powers, Shadow amung those. He can`t use them all the time, however, or else he drains himself. He can be found hanging around Blaze the most and he is good friends with Sonic and Amy. He and Shadow, though, don`t have such a good relationship with one another. Silver can be mouthy at times and tries to act like he`s just as tough as anyone else, but like Rouge, he can be relied on to help out when trouble arises.

Blaze is the quietest of the females in the Sonic Gang, though she is not as taciturn as Shadow. She likes to take things easy and relax when she can. Like Silver, though, she can be quickly flared into action when there is something wrong happening.

Cream is a soft and very respectful little girl. She has a pet chao, named Cheese, which sometimes follows her around. But he can`t follow her at school so he gets left at her home with her mother, Vanilla, to wait for Cream when she comes home. Cream is the youngest of the Sonic Gang. She has a good friendship tie with Amy and Tails and often tries to get the others to engage in playful games. Often times when she leaves the elementary school, in her art class, she makes little things for a few people of the Sonic Gang as gifts.

Big is just that, the biggest member of the Sonic Gang. His size would make him very opposing if he were the fighting sort. But he is a gentle giant and is quite sensitive. He has a pet frog named Froggy but Big calls Froggy his " best friend." During times of battle, the children are usually sent with Big to retreat off to the side to stay out of harm`s way. Big is also the one asked to collect the classwork and homework for the gang if they have to leave school for some mission.

Mighty is one of the most physically strong members of the Sonic Gang. He often spars with Knuckles so they can keep their techniques and strength up. Mighty has been known to rip trees right out of the ground and use them like a baseball bat when battling enemies. He is good-natured and one of the most friendly members. He is willing to meet new people and is the one most likely to play with the children. He has the strongest relationships with Sonic, Cream, Espio and Vector.

Espio is a ninja in training. He can actually turn invisible without the need of smoke bombs or such. He is a little reserved and can be quite serious, often times bringing Vector "back down to Earth." He isn`t so much of a kid person but he does accept the children that are in the group. Unlike Mighty, it usually takes some prodding before Espio will engage in play as he likes to make everyone think that he is a true ninja and has too much discipline to be a part of any silliness. But he does eventually crack (usually doesn`t take too much work) and will engage in the fun activities. He is excellent with spy work as he excels in his invisibility, but he must keep full concentration or else he becomes visible. Even sneezing can disrupt this concentration.

Vector is the second oldest member of the group. He can usually be found with his head stuck in his headphones, listening to music. With his taste of music, Vector likes any genre and any song. He also loves to dance to music and sometimes gets so into it that he forgets others are around him, and either misses out on conversation or knocks people over from his dancing. He gets along with everyone in the group well enough for the most part though he does annoy the others when he spends more time with music then listening to what they have to say. Vector also has an eye for money, though not so much as what Fang does...

Fang is part of the Sonic Gang by pure luck. A bounty hunter when he isn`t in class or hanging with the crew, he still has that shady past with Sonic. Sonic doesn`t fully trust him but he figured that with Fang in the gang, he could have a better eye on him. Fang has jumped up and helped with battles before, but by his choice mainly. Some battles he fought side-by-side with Sonic with, and others he just left the scene for one reason or another. He is known for doing just about anything for money, even betraying those he calls friends.

Ray is a good-natured guy as well as Mighty is and almost as friendly. But unlike Mighty, Ray can be easily frightened and intimidated. He tries his best to remain for battles but can sometimes chicken out after a few punches. Being not much of a fighter, Ray is usually called on to call for back-up if the whole gang isn`t present or to assist Big in keeping the children in a safe place. Ray is a very playful sort and is willing to play with the children but he will turn serious if Eggman shows up. The Babylon Rogues and Shadow are the two things that scare Ray the most. Because of that, Ray does his best to stay out of Shadow`s way and tries not to talk to him much out of fear of making Shadow angry.

Shadow is the oldest of the Sonic Gang, though he doesn`t consider himself as part of it. He was created over 50 years ago on the Space Colony Arc by Professor Gerald and had a strong relationship with Maria, Gerald`s granddaughter. GUN had broken in and killed her along with many other people. The event left Shadow traumatized by the ordeal. He is the most quiet of the group and rarely engages in conversation, but he does listen very well. Shadow won`t be found playing with the children, ever. Sometimes he doesn`t even show up for the gang`s get together, sometimes favouring time to himself to brood over his past. Unlike everyone else, Shadow doesn`t have a home or apartment. He mostly wanders the lands doing whatever he wants at the time. He has fought beside Sonic many a time and with his chaos powers, and being created to be a fighter, he is an invaluable soldier. If he considers anyone in the group to be a friend, it would be Sonic and Amy. He tolerates Rouge but sometimes even she will strike a cord and irritate him. Silver irritates Shadow the most, thus earning him the nickname "little punk" by Shadow sometimes. If words don`t get Silver to back down, a fight will ensue between the two of them, in which the rest of the gang will quickly jump in and separate the two, knowing full well that Shadow is more than capable of killing Silver. Shadow owns a motorcycle, but he usually lets his own speedy feet on hover shoes carry him like Sonic. He is just as speedy with Sonic when it comes to running. Shadow also keeps a red chaos emerald with him, seeming to have some special meaning to him that he refuses to share with anyone. The chaos emerald, Shadow fitted it with a small chain and looped it around the belt buckle of his pants on his right hip. It`s the only chaos emerald out of the seven to have a chain on it, it is a mystery as to how Shadow managed to get the chain on it. He mostly uses it to allow him to use Chaos Control so he could teleport or such. Otherwise, he seems to take comfort in just having it with him. Sonic allows him to keep the emerald as he knows that would be one less emerald to worry about Eggman having and so long as Shadow isn`t using it for evil. Like Rouge, Shadow works for GUN but on a "when he feels like it" basis. If they call him for a job and he doesn`t want to do it, he won`t do it. The few jobs that he does do for them, they pay him for. So Shadow has quite a bit of money stored away which he hardly ever uses except for food and maybe gas for his motorcycle, which isn`t often. He isn`t quite sure of what else to do with the money so he just lets it pile up, which sometimes makes Vector and Fang jealous.

The elementary school finally lets out. Tails and Cream come bursting through the front doors and run right up to the awaiting Sonic Gang. Even though Tails and Cream get to see the others quite often, it always thrills them to be re-united with the teens. With their excited re-uniting out of the way (though with Shadow, as usual, just off to the side with his arms folded, silently watching everyone). the Sonic Gang press on and leave the elementary school to move on to today`s plans.
